Job summary

Daltech is seeking a High-end Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Dual Trade HDM/AE to join our Perth Field Service team. You will work across a wide range of OEM equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and more, servicing heavy mining machinery in the Perth Metro area.

The role requires Australian Permanent Residency/Citizenship and a valid driver’s licence. You will operate from individual Utes, travel to sites, and occasionally attend regional jobs in the Goldfields, Wheatbelt and South West.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian Heavy Trade Qualification (Mobile Plant) and a minimum of 2 years post-trade experience.
• Experience working with OEM equipment such as Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu, CAT.
• Valid Australian Driver's licence (C class) and ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and breakdown work on heavy mining machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Liaising directly with clients and attending to field service tasks.
• Work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and meet deadlines.
• Be willing to travel to regional sites as needed.
