Linde Material Handling is seeking a driven Service Technician in Australia to join our team. You will service and repair forklift trucks across models, diagnose software and hardware issues, and ensure timely completion of daily jobs.

• Mechanical background, ideally with forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Order spare parts via the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs and log information.
• Provide customer service and effective communication.
• Manage service van stock levels and tool maintenance.
• Liaise with Service Allocators to confirm daily jobs and ensure on-time completion.
• Assist in workshop repairs and other service techs as required.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster per company policies.
• Servicing and repairs of forklifts across various sizes and models.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Diagnose and trouble shoot software and hardware issues.
• Order Spare Parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs from office and to log relevant information.
• Customer Service and communication skills.
• Manage Service Van Stock Levels and ensure proper maintenance and care of tools.
• Liaise with the Service Allocators to confirm the jobs assigned every day and ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on time.
• Be able to assist in repairs of units in the workshop.
• Assist other service techs as required.
• Participate in our after-hours on call service roster for any after-hour issues in accordance with company policies and industrial agreements.
• Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts.

Requirements for success:

• You will have a mechanical background, ideally having worked on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive.
• We're looking for a Technician who has a positive attitude to work, enjoy servicing and maintenance work and are willing to go the extra mile and become a valuable member of our Linde team.
