Job summary

Morson Edge Australia in Sydney seeks an experienced EWP Mechanic / Field Service Technician to service, maintain and repair access equipment across metro and regional sites. You will work predominantly in the field, ensuring machines are safe, maintained and ready for hire.

This role offers a 38-hour week, a company van and fuel card, with overtime paid at 1.5x and double time. Occasional overnight travel and a long-term permanent position are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel, Light Vehicle, Engineering or a related mechanical trade.
• Experience working on EWP and access equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when required.
• Current driver's licence and ability to pass medical.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on EWP and access equipment.
• Diagnosing issues across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out onsite repairs.
• Completing inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Preparing equipment for hire and ensuring machines are safe and operational.
• Building relationships with customers through professional face-to-face service.
• Carrying out service work across metro and regional locations, with overnight travel when needed.
