Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Fitter to join our Mining Field Service Team in the Northern Territory. You’ll travel regularly to a NT site, delivering breakdown, diagnostic and warranty support for CAT equipment and performing scheduled servicing and repairs to keep operations running.

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you’ll apply your CAT diagnostic knowledge, maintain safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while benefiting

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification and CAT equipment experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability on heavy machinery.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety at all times.
• High initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• Customer-driven focus with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Fitter, you will:
