Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Rig Mechanic for a field-based role across sites in Western Australia. The position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, maintaining and repairing a fleet of servicing rigs and reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent and Maintenance Manager.

You will work with operations and field teams to ensure reliable operations, with hands-on support from an experienced trades team. Accommodation and meals are provided, with a long-term contract pathway.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanic with relevant trade accreditation.
• Strong fault finding and troubleshooting under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with field crews.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing on all rig assets.
• Inspect and repair rigs as per requirements.
• Order materials, parts, and equipment for maintenance in a timely manner.
• Keep preventative maintenance system up to date.
