Job summary

Key 2 Learning College in Watson, ACT is seeking a Full-Time Fieldwork Placement Coordinator to manage 400 hours of field placements for CHC52021/CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) students, under Community Work Australia accreditation.

You will oversee placement preparation, ensure compliance, and maintain strong industry partner relationships, enabling students to gain practical experience and meet course schedules.

Qualifications

• At least three years of broad industry experience in community services.
• Practical experience in case management at the required skill level.
• Post-Diploma level qualifications in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 400 hours of fieldwork placements for Diploma in Community Services.
• Oversee fieldwork preparation to meet accreditation standards.
• Maintain industry partner relationships and resolve student issues.
• Provide pre-placement briefing sessions for students with clearances.
• Oversee partner agencies' qualifications and requirements.
• Conduct liaison sessions and troubleshoot placement issues.
• Maintain placement records and support materials.
• Monitor students during placement and liaise with student support.
• Perform other general duties as requested.

Essential Experience:

Desired Qualifications:

Certificate IV Training & Assessment - TAE40116 or equivalent as allowed for by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Key Accountabilities and Expected Outcomes:

• Coordinate 400 hours of Fieldwork Placements forCHC52021/CHC52025 – Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) for enrolled students to meet course schedule requirements with organisations in the ACT and surrounding areas

• Oversee Fieldwork Placement preparation and delivery to meet compliance, accreditation and continuous improvement standards

• Maintain and expand industry partner relationships and resolve operational and student difficulties

• Provide pre-Fieldwork Placement briefing sessions to students and ensure all students have the necessary clearances, vaccinations, etc

• Provide pre-Fieldwork Placement briefing sessions to Partner Agencies and oversee qualifications/operational requirements

• Conduct Liaison sessions (face to face and online) as required, and troubleshoot issues or difficulties as these arise to prevent Placement breakdown

• Maintain records/reports and contribute to the review and ongoing improvement of Fieldwork Placement materials

• Monitor and support students throughout Placement to maximise learning experience, and liaise with internal Student Support functions where necessary

• Other general duties as requested.
