Job summary

Downer is seeking a Technical Support professional to join our Energy and Utilities team on Barrow Island. This role requires managing safe systems of work and ensuring controls are in place at the work site. Ideal candidates will have strong permit to work experience, a practical background in industrial environments, and at least five years in the industry.

The position offers a two weeks on, two weeks off FIFO roster, competitive salary, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in permit to work and control of work systems.
Strong background in construction or maintenance environments.
Minimum five years experience in the construction or maintenance industry.

Responsibilities

Manage and control safe systems of work.
Confirm isolations and controls are in place at the work front.
Implement and control Control of Work and Permit to Work systems.
