Metrowide Facility Management invites applications for a Contract Manager – Facilities & Municipal Services in the Bayside/Moorabbin area of Melbourne. This role combines field leadership with contract performance, cost control and client liaison to deliver safe, high-quality municipal and commercial services.

You will oversee supervisors, fleet, subcontractors and field teams, ensuring KPI targets, budgets and safety standards are achieved while remaining hands-on in the field and responsive to

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management and field-based operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, labour costs and KPI performance.
• Experience coordinating rosters and field staff across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of WHS, environmental and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational delivery of the contract.
• Lead and support supervisors and field employees.
• Coordinate rosters, staff allocation and coverage.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
• Ensure KPIs and service standards are met.
• Respond to client requests and issues promptly.
• Develop relationships with client representatives.
• Oversee staff inductions, training and performance.
• Monitor costs, budgets and contract expenditure.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements.
