Job summary

SpaceXSI is hiring Field Engineers to partner with commercial customers and help evaluate the Grok platform across Grok Build, Grok Bot, and the Grok API. You will guide proofs of concept, demonstrate capabilities, and ensure customers see value across engineering workflows and business processes.

You’ll work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions, craft end-to-end designs, and mentor technical stakeholders, while representing customers’ needs internally to influence product

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Build working prototypes that connect multiple tools and agents to show customers how a real workflow runs end to end.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, serving as their technical advisor.
• Translate customer requirements into end-to-end solution designs, from agents and tooling to the controls that keep people in the loop.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to customer needs.
• Act as the customer's technical advocate internally, influencing roadmap priorities and escalating feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful customer onboarding.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Grok platform and the competitive landscape to position our value effectively.

About The Role

We're hiring Field Engineers to partner with prospective and growing commercial customers. As a Field Engineer, you'll be the technical face of SpaceX Super Intelligence in the field, helping customers evaluate the Grok platform, including Grok Build, Grok Bot and the Grok API, guiding them through proofs of concept, and ensuring they see the full value of AI across their engineering workflows and wider business processes.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders. This is a highly customer-facing role where you’ll combine deep technical fluency with strong communication skills to drive adoption and influence product direction.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements
• Build working prototypes that connect multiple tools and agents to show customers how a real workflow runs end to end
• Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, serving as their technical advisor

• Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to customer needs
• Act as the customer's technical advocate internally, influencing roadmap priorities and escalating feedback to Product and Engineering
• Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful customer onboarding
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Grok platform and the competitive landscape to position our value effectively
• Support account planning and help drive expansion opportunities across a portfolio of customers with technical validation

• You have experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Pre-Sales, or have designed and built systems that automate work across teams and tools
