Job summary

Embedded Expertise is seeking an Electrical Engineer for field testing, verification and commissioning on a major tunnel infrastructure project in Sydney. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure ITS and electrical systems are installed, tested and operating according to technical specifications and standards.

You are a practical, safety-focused engineer with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance and compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical testing, field verification or commissioning activities.
• Experience with ITS, tunnel systems, road infrastructure or major infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Understanding of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications and documentation.
• Ability to follow test procedures, interpret results, investigate faults and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field testing, verification and commissioning activities for ITS and tunnel electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, construction and commissioning teams to ensure correct installation, testing and operation.
• Ensure systems are installed, tested and operating in accordance with project specs and standards.
