Job summary

New Ground Environmental on the Gold Coast is seeking mid-level or senior ecologists for field-based work across Queensland resources, land development and extractive sectors. You will contribute to ecological assessments, coordinate rosters in remote areas and collaborate with a dynamic team using the latest equipment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of strong field survey and identification experience.
• Solid knowledge of the relevant legislation.
• Strong report writing ability.
• Good problem solving and delivering solutions.
• Ability to manage tasks to time, cost and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys across multiple projects in remote central QLD.
• Roaster-based field work with occasional report writing and office tasks.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals using the latest equipment and technology.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through project delivery.
