Job summary

CPH Mining & Civil is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for a permanent full-time, field-based role supporting operations across Bowen Basin mines. The position carries a 7/7 roster with a company vehicle and meals/accommodation provided while away, working on Goonyella and Blackwater sites.

You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain heavy mobile electrical systems with safety as a priority. The ideal candidate will hold an Australian Auto Electrical trade qualification and have mining or heavy

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification.
• Experience as an Auto Electrician within mining, civil or heavy earthmoving.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience across a range of heavy mobile plant.
• Safety focus and high workmanship standards.
• Ability to work autonomously in a field service environment.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Mine Workers Health Assessment highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs across heavy mobile plant.
• Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Field-based breakdown response and repairs.
• Diagnosis and rectification of low-voltage electrical systems.
• Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical components and accessories.
• Air-conditioning diagnostics, servicing and repairs where qualified.
• Supporting plant reliability and availability across CPH projects.
• Completing work in accordance with CPH and site safety, maintenance and operational requirements.
