Job summary

Genea is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Sydney CBD clinic on a part-time basis (4 days/week), with full-time consideration. The role involves frontline patient care, support and education, in an office setting, combining clinical duties with administration and IT system use.

You will interact with patients both face-to-face and over the phone, coordinating with doctors and scientists to tailor IVF treatment plans and support patients throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in women's health preferred.
• Office-based role requiring administration and IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and phone patient interviews and consultations.
• Coordinate care with doctors and scientists to tailor treatment plans.
• Instruct patients on self-administration of IVF drugs.
• Relay results to patients and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and related admin tasks.

Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an experiencedRegistered Nurse to join our Sydney CBD clinic on a part time basis 4 days a week/full time will be considered if interested.

Genea Nurses provide frontline care to our patients, supporting them along every step of their Fertility treatment. This role is unique, you be working in an office environment interacting with our patients both over the phone and face to face. Alongside clinical duties, a significant proportion of your role will involve providing patient care, support and education.

On a daily basis your role will involve:

• Patient face to face interviews and phone chats
• Collaborating with doctors and scientists coordinating care, working together to tailor unique treatment plans for each patient.
• Providing instructions to patients for the self administration of IVF drugs
• Providing results to patients over the phone and support at any point required
• Maintaining accurate patient records, clinical data entry and general administration duties associated with the role

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (with a current AHPRA registration) who has ideally worked in woman's healthfor this role.

You will have strong clinical skills, but also strong people skills as large component of this role involves support and counselling. We are looking for empathetic Nurses, who can build rapport and provide genuine, authentic care to our patients.

As this role is office based you will need also strong administration skills and technical competence - at Genea we work across a number of different IT systems which you will need to learn.
