Nextt is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide casual backfill support for clients across Bayside. You will support people with psychosocial disabilities, helping maintain independence and improve quality of life through person-centred care.

Role involves daily living assistance, mobility support, medication help and fostering independence while building trusted relationships with clients. Shift flexibility is valued, with day and evening slots available.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Experience with manual handling and medication assistance.
• Comfort working in environments where animals may be present.

Disability Support Workers - Bayside

Make a meaningful difference with Nextt Nextt is seeking compassionate, reliable and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide casual backfill support to clients across the Bayside area.

You’ll be supporting people living with psychosocial disabilities, helping them maintain their independence, build confidence and enjoy a better quality of life through person-centred support.

About the Role

You'll provide person-centred support tailored to each client's individual needs, including:

• Assisting with daily living tasks and community access
• Medication assistance
• Manual handling and mobility support
• Promoting independence, wellbeing and daily routines
• Building positive, trusting relationships with clients
• Providing safe, respectful and consistent support
• Supporting clients to engage in meaningful activities and achieve their goals

Important: You must be comfortable around animals, as clients may have pets in their homes.

Available Shifts

Casual backfill shifts are available across the following times:

• Day shifts: 9:00am-2:00pm
• Evening shifts: 5:00pm-10:00pm

Flexibility and availability to cover shifts as required will be highly regarded.

Pay Rates

E3.1 Casual - In-Home & SIL | SCHADS Award

• Monday-Friday: $36.81 per hour
• Afternoon: $40.49 per hour
• Active Night: $41.23 per hour
• Saturday: $51.54 per hour
• Sunday: $66.26 per hour
• Public Holiday: $80.99 per hour
