Job summary

Darwalla Group in Mt Cotton, QLD, is seeking a hands‑on Feed Mill Operator to join a small, supportive team. You will batch and operate plant equipment, schedule deliveries, and help with repairs in a 24/7 operation, reporting to the Feed Mill Manager.

The role requires a current forklift licence, confined space entry licence, mechanical aptitude, strong teamwork, and a flexible attitude. On-site parking, uniform/PPE provided, and overtime paid at double time are offered.

About The Role ...

Join our friendly and supportive 6‑person Feed Mill team, responsible for producing poultry feed across our operations.

This Is a Hands‑on Role Involving

• Batching and operating plant equipment
• Scheduling deliveries
• Troubleshooting breakdowns
• Assisting with repairs and maintenance

Based at our Mt Cotton site, you’ll report directly to the Feed Mill Manager.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work
• Rotating Day and Night shifts starting and finishing 6am and 6pm respectively
• Overtime required as part of operations (paid at double time)

This is a 24/7 industry, so flexibility is essential.
