Job summary

Optus Enterprise & Business is seeking an experienced Federal Government Operations Manager to lead a regional team of 15+ ICT engineers across ACT and other states, delivering complex Professional Services projects and ensuring security, quality and customer outcomes.

You will manage resource planning, mentor engineers, contribute to solution design and pre-sales opportunities, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with Optus' market leadership and strategic goals for government

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering, professional services, or technical operations leadership.
Extensive expertise across networking, voice, wireless, security and infrastructure in enterprise settings.
Proven experience delivering complex ICT projects from design to implementation and support.
Strong pre-sales capability engaging customers and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a regional team of 15+ ICT engineers across ACT and other states.
Ensure delivery of Professional Services projects to scope, schedule, budget and quality.
Manage resource planning, forecasting, utilization and reporting for billable targets.
Contribute to business cases, solution development and strategic collaboration.
Identify automation opportunities and drive delivery process improvements.
