Job summary

Ford Australia is seeking a Feature Software Test Planner to lead the development and coordination of test plans for major vehicle programs, including OTA updates. You will optimize resources, manage external providers and drive excellence across launches, running changes and validation efforts.

Based at YYPG, Little River site, with a 4-day-from-home arrangement. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–5+ years in automotive software testing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering.
• 3–5+ years in automotive systems engineering or software testing.
• Experience with test planning, validation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation and scheduling of feature test plans across vehicle programs.
• Coordinate resources, test vehicles, labs and external service providers.
• Drive engineering excellence for running changes, launches and OTA updates.
• Mentor Feature Testers and manage supplier and staff planning.
• Ensure global testing standards and robust data validation.
