Job summary

Roadhaven Cafe located within the bp Marmor Truckstop on the Bruce Highway, Marmor, is seeking team members with short order cooking or kitchen hand experience for our Service Station & Diner Cafe. The roles cover mornings, afternoons, overnights and weekends, with potential full-time positions for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast food, club, pub or cafe industry.
• Willingness to work mornings, afternoons, overnights and weekends.
• Basic food preparation and short order cooking.
• Ability to follow recipes and display plans.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Police checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Hands on customer service when required (training provided).
• Basic Food preparation.
• Short order cooking from a basic pub style menu.
• Preparing fresh food for and maintaining hot and cold display presentation.
• Portion control to company standards.
• Following company set procedures including recipe cards & display planograms.
• Compliance with all OHS & Council Food Law requirements.
