Family Support Worker - Make a Real Difference!

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 5x 8-hour shifts per week; Monday - Sunday

Shift Hours: You will work a variety of shifts between 08:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00, and 12:00 - 20:00

What You'll Be Doing:

• - Safeguarding children and families - Remain alert to any signs of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or risks to children and vulnerable family members. Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, record and report concerns promptly, maintain professional boundaries, and always prioritise the safety and welfare of children.
• - Empowering families - Work closely with parents, encouraging positive change and supporting their journey towards independence.
• - Hands-on support - Accompany families to appointments, shopping trips, and recreational activities, providing essential guidance.
• - Observing and Assessing - Maintain accurate records, write daily chronologies, contribute to evidence-based assessments, and ensure children's welfare is always a priority.
• - Working as part of a dynamic team - Collaborate in meetings, handovers, and case discussions to ensure the best outcomes for families.
• - Being a role model - Lead by example and promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where families can thrive.
