Responsibilities
  • Implement structured and long-term collaboration with a diverse range of external partners to drive positive outcomes for families and children to engage successfully with learning and strengthen relationships with parents and carers to facilitate improvement in student attendance, behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Work with classroom teachers, teacher aides and specialist support staff to understand the child\'s needs and connect families with services, such as health, therapeutic and developmental interventions to support engagement with learning.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships and effective partnerships with students, parents, school staff, government agencies and community services and provide expert input into decision making processes to ensure optimum outcomes for children and their families.
  • Bring expertise into school communities about vulnerable children and families and their needs to facilitate engagement in learning and improved learning outcomes.
