Job summary

Beacon Legal is seeking a Family Lawyer to join an established North Sydney practice. The role offers progression from Associate to Partner level, with opportunities to lead and influence the team’s growth.

You will handle a broad range of family law matters, including complex property settlements, parenting disputes, divorce, and high-value cases, with scope to mentor juniors and shape the practice direction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ PAE in Family Law.
• Strong experience managing family law matters.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients.
• Good drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• A commercial and practical approach.
• Senior Associates, Special Counsel and Partner-level lawyers are encouraged to apply.
• Established workflow and client base.

Responsibilities

Looking for a Family Law role where you can step into an established practice, work on quality matters and have some real influence over how the team develops?

3+ Years’ PAE | Established Family Law Practice | Senior Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established North Sydney law firm looking to add an experienced Family Lawyer to its team. They’re open on level - from a strong lawyer with 3+ years’ PAE through to Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level.

For someone more senior, there is also the opportunity to take a leading role within the practice and help shape its continued growth.

About the Firm

This is an established commercial firm with a strong reputation, a good internal culture and a sociable team. We’ve worked closely with the firm for a number of years and have placed a number of lawyers into the business. Feedback has consistently been positive around the people, quality of work and overall environment.

It’s a stable platform with an existing workflow - you’re not being brought in to build a family practice from scratch.

About the Role

You’ll work across a broad range of family law matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
• High-value and complex family law matters
• Negotiated settlements and contested proceedings

At the more senior end, there is scope to take greater ownership of the practice, mentor lawyers and play a key role in its future direction.
