Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong partnerships with families, school staff, government agencies and community services to improve student attendance, behaviour, engagement and learning outcomes.
Work collaboratively with teachers, teacher aides and specialist staff to identify student needs and connect families with health, therapeutic, developmental and other support services, including the NDIS.
Establish and maintain networks with external service providers and community partners to coordinate support for children and families, including school transitions and early intervention.
Strengthen the capacity of schools and families to support student learning, development and wellbeing, respond to complex needs, and improve engagement in education.
Use data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies, maintain accurate case and activity records, and contribute to collaborative family support networks.
