Palmers Glass & Carpentry is seeking a dedicated and reliable Factory Hand/Glass lamination Worker to join our team in Gladesville, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our glass processing operations. As a glass worker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facility, contributing directly to the quality of our products and the success of our business. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in glass processing whilst working alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and assisting with glass lamination in accordance with safety protocols and company procedures
• Preparing materials and components for glass lamination, and organising materials as required
• Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout each stage of glass manufacturing
• Assembling and packaging finished glass products safely and securely for storage or dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials and finished products as directed
• Following all workplace safety procedures and reporting any hazards, accidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately
• Supporting senior staff members and contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Performing other general factory duties and tasks as required by management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing, factory, or production environment is highly desirable
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
