Job summary

Quatro Design in Murwillumbah, a leading manufacturer of GRC bowls, pots, planter boxes and street furniture, is seeking a General Factory Hand to join our production team. You will perform a range of factory tasks including production mixing, assembly, packing and quality control to help meet our high standards and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Capability to lift and handle heavy items when needed.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general factory duties such as assembly, packing, and quality control to meet production standards.
• Must be physically fit to complete product batching and mixing procedures
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, including the forklift, to ensure operational safety.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and address any issues.
