Job summary

AWL Innovations on the Gold Coast is seeking a fitter to join our team. You will perform fibreglass modifications, fit components to fibreglass canopies, and carry out internal fit outs using hand, power, and air tools.

You will measure for drilling, ensure accurate fitting, and work autonomously or with a crew in a factory setting. A current driver’s license is required; forklift license is desirable but not essential. Immediate start available with long-term career opportunities.

• Competent in using hand, power and air tools.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.
• Must have a current driver’s license; forklift license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fibreglass modification and component fitting to fibreglass canopies.
• Internal fit outs and measuring for drilling to ensure accurate fitting.
• Use hand/power/air tools to complete tasks.
• Work in the factory environment, moving between stations as required.

We are suppliers of high-quality light-weight composite service bodies to a range of commercial, government & private fleets throughout Australia.

In this role you will be doing:

Fibreglass modification

Fitting components to fibreglass canopies

Internal Fit outs

Using Hand/Power and Air tools

Measuring for drilling and accurately fitting

Floating within in the factory when required

To be successful in this role you will need:

Competent in using Hand/power and Air tools

Self-motivated and reliable

High attention to detail

Can work autonomously and as part of a team

Driver's license

Fork-Lift license is desirable but not a must.
