Job summary

WorkPac is recruiting for Factory Hands at their Forest Glen facility in Australia. Shift is 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with duties including manufacturing door frames, gluing timbers, nail gun use, and feed-through of doors into press machinery.

Driver’s licence and reliable transport are required, along with being physically fit and detail-oriented. The role offers an immediate start, a long-term pathway with the company, and on-the-job training to develop skills in door fabrication

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to transport.
• Physically fit for manual manufacturing duties.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Willingness to learn and follow safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture steel/wooden door frames at the Forest Glen factory.
• Glue timbers to form doors as required.
• Operate nail guns in a safe, efficient manner.
• Place doors into a press machine for finishing steps.

Our client are specialists in purpose-built door manufacture. Made-to-order doors are tailored to precise project specifications. High-grade materials and a knowledgeable team together address building needs in commercial, residential, and industrial settings.

What You Will Be Doing

They are currently seeking Factory Hands to join their team based out of their Forest Glen factory. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday Friday from 6:30am - 2:30pm, and be responsible for the following duties:

• Manufacturing steel/wooden door frames


• Gluing together timbers doors


• Using nail guns


• Placing doors in a press machine
