Job summary

Protech Group is seeking experienced factory cabinet makers for ongoing labour hire opportunities in the Metro Melbourne area. You will bring joinery and shopfitting experience to commercial fitouts and education projects, with opportunities to move between projects and clients.

Ideal candidates hold a joinery trade qualification or overseas equivalent, a current White Card, and own tagged and tested tools with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in joinery or overseas joinery qualification accepted.
• Current White Card.
• Own tagged and tested tools, reliable transport.
• Experience in commercial fitout projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble shopfitting joinery for commercial projects.
• Assist in education and office fit-out projects as required.
• Move between projects and clients on short- and long-term assignments.

• Commercial fit-outs and office refurbishments
• Education projects including schools and universities
• Apartment and multi-residential developments
• High-end residential builds and renovations
• Modular projects
• Major Events - Exhibition, Activation

What's On Offer

• $48.00 - $50.00 (depending on client) per hour + meal allowance + super + OT
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing short and long-term assignments
• Opportunity to move between projects and clients
• Temp-to-perm opportunities with selected employers

What we're looking for to be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification in joinery or overseas trade qualified joiners will also be considered
• Current White Card
• Own tagged and tested tools, reliable transport
• Previous experience in commercial fitout projects highly desired, but not essential
