Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Coordinator/Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and compliance of critical data centre infrastructure in Melbourne. You will report to the Data Centre Manager and ensure all facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and with maximum uptime.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, plus experience managing contractors and service agreements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities management, preferably within a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service agreements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities.
