Job summary

Challenger Services Group in Mascot, NSW, is hiring Full-Time Facility Cleaners to maintain clean and safe spaces in a large food production environment. The role offers consistent daytime hours, with shifts from 6:00am to 3:00pm on a rotating roster across a 7-day week.

You will operate cleaning equipment, manage waste, and ensure bathrooms and common areas are hygienic. Training provided and opportunities for shift growth exist.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or facility services is preferred but not essential.
• Experience operating walk-behind scrubbers or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Hold a valid Police Check or be willing to obtain one.

Challenger Services Group is seeking Full-Time Facility Cleaners to join our team in Mascot. Working within a large food production environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring shared spaces, amenities, and operational areas remain clean, hygienic, and well-maintained.

Shift Time: Rotating Roster (Earliest start 6:00am | Latest finish 3:00pm across a 7-day week)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining cleanliness throughout amenities, common areas, and operational spaces.
• Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and amenities.
• Refilling consumables including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and sanitiser dispensers.
• Operating walk-behind scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Supporting a clean, hygienic, and welcoming workplace environment

About You

You’ll be someone who:

• Has previous cleaning or facility services experience (preferred but not essential).
• Has experience operating walk-behind scrubbers or is willing to learn.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Is reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Can work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one
