Job summary

Challenger Services Group is hiring a Full-Time Facility Cleaner for a premium aged care facility in Oran Park, NSW. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with duties across resident, staff, and communal areas to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment.

You'll help support residents' wellbeing through high-quality cleaning, with attention to infection control, safety procedures, and waste management.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility services is preferred but not essential.
• Strong reliability, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment across resident, communal, and staff areas.
• Support daily comfort and wellbeing of elderly residents through high-quality cleaning.
• Complete routine and detailed cleaning tasks according to schedules and procedures.

• Manage waste collection, disposal, and replenishment of consumables.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and infection control procedures.

Challenger Services Group is seeking reliable and compassionate Full-Time Facility Cleaners to join our team in Oran Park, NSW. Working within a premium aged care environment, you'll play an important role in supporting the comfort, dignity, health, and wellbeing of residents through the delivery of high-quality cleaning services.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Location: Oran Park, NSW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment throughout resident, communal, and staff areas.
• Supporting the daily comfort and wellbeing of elderly residents through high-quality cleaning services.
• Completing routine and detailed cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Conducting regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces to support infection control measures.
• Managing waste collection, disposal, and replenishment of consumables.
• Following all workplace health, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Working independently and collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team.

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, or facility services experience (preferred but not essential).
• Understands safe cleaning practices, chemical handling, and infection control procedures.
• Has a genuine desire to contribute to a caring environment for elderly residents.
• Is reliable, organised, and able to manage their time effectively.
• Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one.
• Holds an NDIS Worker Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
• Has received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a current Influenza vaccination (Mandatory).
