The Mission - Why This Program, Why Now?
You're joining at the defining moment of one of the most significant technology programmes Australia has ever undertaken. This programme will build and operate the dedicated cloud giving Australia's national security community and its allies the capability to see more, share more, innovate and act faster than ever before.
Your Role in the Mission
Imagine being the eyes and ears of one of the world's most advanced data centre ecosystems. As a Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) team member, you'll sit at the nerve centre of 24/7 infrastructure monitoring the place where every electrical pulse, every mechanical system, and every critical alert converges into a single, unified picture.
This isn't passive monitoring. This is active stewardship of the physical backbone that powers innovation for millions. When a Large Scale Event unfolds or a Critical Site Event demands immediate coordination, you'll be the calm, decisive voice that brings teams together and drives resolution. You'll bridge the gap between IT infrastructure and facilities systems, understanding how these two worlds interlock to deliver unbreakable reliability.
You're joining a team that's being built from the ground up, a newly developed capability where your ideas, your processes, and your standards will become the foundation. You'll help shape communication protocols, develop tools that amplify team performance, and drive a culture of operational excellence that ripples across the entire organisation.
