Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Maintenance Officer to deliver general maintenance and repairs across Homes and facilities in our Adelaide-based aged care locations. You will manage inspections, coordinate contractors, ensure safety and legislative compliance, and help keep a pleasant, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Candidates should have hands-on building maintenance experience, budget and contractor management skills, and a current driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience of building maintenance work and procedures.
• Min 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Contractor Management and site budget coordination.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards.
• Moderate computer literacy and driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings in Homes and facilities.
• Inspect and deliver statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance per plan.
• Supervise and coordinate site contractors and budget adherence.
• Maintain safe, aesthetic and compliant working environments for residents and staff.
• Carry out routine tasks including cleaning, painting, lighting, basic plumbing, and general repairs.
