Job summary

UOW Pulse is seeking an experienced Cleaning and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead cleaning operations across campus facilities. You will manage a team, coordinate contractors, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires strong organisational skills, WHS compliance, and a proactive approach to service improvements. You will build relations with stakeholders and drive continuous improvements in maintenance activities on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or facilities management with leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures and standards.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Experience with maintenance software and contractor engagement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cleaning services, ensuring a spotless environment across all locations.
• Plan and supervise cleaning operations, allocate resources and manage contractors.
• Maintain SOPs and SWMS for compliance and efficient processes.
• Act as primary maintenance coordinator, engaging contractors for quality work.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring WHS compliance.
• Implement service improvements and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Ensure facilities are safe, functional and well-maintained.
• Provide oversight, monitoring and evaluation of cleaning services.
• Build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
