Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for an experienced Fabricator Welder to work from their Knowsley basedworkshop and attend sites across the North West area

For the successful Fabricator Welder , our client is offering:

  • Up to £18.00 per hour (PAYE) (Depending on Experience)
  • £23 per hour (CIS/LTD)
  • Core Hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
  • Ongoing temporary contract

The Role: Fabricator Welder

  • Working in a workshop & on various sites in the North West
  • Fabricating a range of different products from start to finish
  • Pipe fabrication and welding
  • TIG and MIG welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Working from engineering drawings to plan and execute pipefitting tasks for both mechanical and electrical projects.
  • Working with stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
  • Ensure accurate assembly and installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment
  • Conduct regular quality checks.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes and tubing to specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of work.

Job Role: Working in their workshop, the Pipe Welder will carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to complete precision welds. The role will also involve quality inspection of finished work to ensure high standards. This is a hands-on position focused on welding accuracy and structural integrity.

Job Details:

  • Hours of Work: Core Hours: 7am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday is 7am–12:00pm
  • Duration: Temporary
  • Benefits: Overtime paid at enhanced rates
  • TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel
  • Working from drawings

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Coded TIG welder for 6G
  • Some Fabrication
  • Experience with steel fabrication

Essential Qualifications:

  • NVQ/C&G in TIG Welding or equivalent
