Job summary

BK Industrial Group is looking for a highly skilled boiler maker and sheet metal tradesperson to join our Ingleburn-based team. You will fabricate, weld, and assemble from drawings for diverse projects in workshop and on-site settings.

With a minimum of 10 years in the trade and qualifications including Australian Trade Certificate and White Card, you’ll operate Delem DA-69T controls, MIG/TIG, and orbital welding, while delivering quality work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Exhibit a high level of skill and craftsmanship in all tasks related to the sheet metal and boiler making industry.
• Apply fabrication expertise to materials 0.5–12mm thick, including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Ability to create patterns for bends, tees, cones and transitions from square to round.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate from drawings and specifications for project work.
• Work across workshop fabrication and on-site project activities.
• Maintain safety, quality and on-time delivery of components.

BK Industrial Group Pty Ltd is in search of motivated and enthusiastic team players to become part of our Ingleburn-based team as a boiler maker, sheet metal tradesperson

Experience and Skills

• Exhibit a high level of skill and craftsmanship in all tasks related to the sheet metal and boiler making industry.
• Apply your fabrication expertise to work on materials ranging from 0.5 to 12mm in thickness, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. Previous experience with these materials is preferred.
• Ability to fabricate new products from drawings and specifications, including tube and pipework, general fabrication, and structural components in accordance with the provided scope of work
• Proficient in TIG, MIG(GMAW), MMAW and orbital welding techniques.
• Experience with the Press Brake System, specifically the Delem controller DA-69T.
• Ability to create patterns for bends, tees, cones, and transitions from square to round.
• A minimum of 10 years of trade experience.
• Experience across the food processing, power generation, water infrastructure and heavy engineering industries.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques to improve proficiency in the field.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Certificate
• Construction Card (White card)
• A valid driver's license is required.
• A forklift ticket is advantageous.
