Job summary

LemmeRecruit is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to support a financial systems transformation, migrating financial data into a data lake and laying the foundations for financial reporting within a Microsoft Fabric and Azure environment.

You will own data pipelines and platform work end-to-end, work independently to meet tight timelines, and join a fast-moving, delivery-focused team on a 6-month contract with hybrid onsite work (Melbourne days: Mon, Wed, Thu).

Qualifications

• Commercial, hands-on Fabric experience.
• Experience building and managing data pipelines and data platforms.
• Experience working with financial modelling and financial reporting data.
• Experience moving data into a data lake.
• Strong project experience with ability to explain previous technical delivery.
• A proactive, self-starting approach and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data pipelines and data platforms using Fabric and Azure.
• Build data foundations in Fabric to support financial reporting.
• Work with financial modelling and financial reporting data.
• Support reporting built from centralised financial data.
• Clearly communicate technical delivery approach and progress to stakeholders.
