Job summary
Avanade Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Support Engineer to maintain and enhance data and analytics solutions on the Fabric platform. You will work with stakeholders to keep pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses, notebooks, and reports reliable and secure, with Foundry-enabled AI/ML capabilities where appropriate.
You will monitor data quality, perform troubleshooting, and produce runbooks and technical notes to support teams.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in Data platform support, data engineering, analytics, BI, or related roles.
- Experience supporting data pipelines, reports, lakehouse/warehouse improvements, and analytics enablement.
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Dataverse, APIs, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Fabric, Synapse, Power BI, Foundry, or Dynamics 365 data sources.
Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, test, and improve Microsoft Fabric data solutions across pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses, notebooks, and reporting assets.
- Create runbooks, data dictionaries, technical notes, user guides, and incident updates.
- Engage stakeholders and support governance, security, and data lifecycle practices.
