Job summary

Palm Lake Resort Pty in Pelican Waters Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendant. This casual/part-time role offers a rotating Monday–Sunday roster with a minimum 20 hours per week, including Friday dinner service through to 10pm and event shifts.

You will deliver high-quality service across café, restaurant, bar and function spaces, with duties spanning service, beverage preparation, cash handling and event support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Food & Beverage experience in either a Café, Restaurant, Bar or Event/functions environment.
• Experience in table service environment is essential.
• Barista / cocktailing making experience highly regarded.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest quality service to customers through personalized service and handling enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Prepare, present and serve food items & beverages (including coffee & alcoholic beverages), including full restaurant table service.
• Responsible for handling all POS & eftpos transactions.
• Perform opening and closing duties for our Café, bar & restaurant as required.
• Assist in the set up, service and pack down of events/functions held at the Golf Club.
• Maintain cleanliness of food and beverage equipment along with presentation of function areas and cafe.
• Working collaboratively within a team environment, sharing a joint commitment to executing service to the highest level.
