Job summary

Qube Forestry is seeking a hands-on Log Scaler to deliver accurate export log measurements and monitor log quality in the yard. You will work with the team to identify out-of-spec logs with confidence and support day-to-day operations.

The role requires teamwork, safety awareness, and a practical understanding of log scaling practices, SOPs and National Standards. Willingness to perform varied yard duties and data entry as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unrestricted license.
• Experience in a log/timber yard is preferred but not essential.
• Eye for detail with focus on high-quality work.
• Safety conscious with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Mature and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Scaling logs to export requirements.
• Truck checking & sign in.
• Quality control.
• Row mark-up and general yard duties.
• Data entry.
