Job summary

Orica Limited is looking for Bench Assistants to join their North Surface Coal Team in Queensland. In this role, you will assist shotfirers, load explosives, and ensure safety standards are upheld. This job follows a Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) schedule with camp facilities provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated work history in physically demanding jobs working in all types of weather.
• Ability to pass security checks for QLD Explosives Security Clearance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting shotfirers and Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) Truck Operators.
• Assisting with delivery of explosive products and loading explosives.
• Working closely with team members to provide excellent service.
