Nova Systems is seeking Explosive Ordnance Engineers to support Defence projects across Australia. In these consulting roles, you will review requirements, assess risks, provide engineering advice, and support informed decision-making on complex capability challenges.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic or Aerospace.
• Defence or Defence Industry project experience.
• Strong interpersonal and client-relationship skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to solve complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Willingness to stay informed on new engineering technologies.
• Australian Citizenship with NV1 clearance.
• Flexibility to support varying project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy advice and technical solutions to clients in project environments.
• Build strong client relationships as a trusted engineering advisor.
• Analyse engineering systems, processes, and projects to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Solve complex engineering challenges through innovative and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, logisticians, technicians, and end users.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, presentations, and engineering findings.
• Contribute to business development opportunities and long-term client partnerships.
