Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of software development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on ESB, middleware or enterprise integration development.
- Proven leadership delivering enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience developing APIs, web services and integration components.
- Experience integrating payment gateways or financial transaction processing platforms.
- Knowledge of payment providers such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, Cybersource or equivalent.
- Strong experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and messaging technologies.
- Understanding of secure payment processing, encryption, authentication and PCI DSS.
- Experience designing message transformation, routing, orchestration and exception‑handling processes.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Previous government/complex OT environments desirable.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

- Lead the technical design, development and implementation of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integrations.

- Design message routing, transformation, orchestration and exception‑handling processes.
- Implement transaction workflows covering authorisation, settlement, refunds, reversals and reconciliation.
- Develop interfaces using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and messaging technologies.
- Ensure integration solutions meet security and data protection requirements, including PCI DSS where applicable.
