Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment partner with a leading Australian financial services business to recruit an Events & Brand Activation Specialist for a 14–15 month fixed-term contract commencing December in Sydney.

You'll own a diverse programme of client events, brand activations and milestone celebrations, lead anniversary activities, and manage budgets while mentoring an Events Coordinator within a collaborative, creative marketing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering events, conferences or brand activations end to end.
• Strong project management, budget and supplier management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues, formally or informally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver corporate events, client experiences, conferences and brand activations from concept through to execution.
• Lead key anniversary celebrations and contribute to a major business-wide conference in 2027.
• Manage event budgets, venues, suppliers, agencies and logistics.
• Develop creative experiences and activations that support brand awareness and client engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure events align with business objectives.
• Evaluate event performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to an Events Coordinator.
