Job summary

Blue Steel Fabrications in Campbellfield VIC is seeking a skilled Welder for a full-time permanent role. You will weld and fabricate metal products in a factory setting and install finished items onsite, ensuring quality and safety at every step.

The successful candidate will read drawings, work with MIG, TIG and Stick welding, and maintain safe practices with PPE. OHS White Card and a valid driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
• Practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work safely in factory and onsite environments with PPE.
• Unrestricted full-time Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, plans and measurements.
• Cut, weld, grind and fabricate metal products to specifications.
• Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all fabricated products meet quality and safety standards.
• Transport, assemble and install metal products onsite.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and worksite.
