Job summary

Chattyvets in regional Victoria is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established mixed practice on a casual basis, with potential to move to part-time. The role offers a varied caseload across companion animals, livestock and wildlife, and may involve farm and house visits.

You will work across surgery, reception and general nursing duties, with Saturday mornings and after-hours on-call rosters.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of one year of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgery and anaesthetic monitoring.
• Provide nursing care and patient discharges.
• Reception duties and client communication.
• Possible farm and house visits when available.
