Job summary

Next Level Base Works Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our busy concrete construction and earthworks team in Bunyip, VIC. The role involves transporting materials and floating earthmoving machinery across Melbourne and surrounding areas, with a focus on safety, reliability and timely deliveries.

The successful candidate will have a current HC licence, proven experience with earthmoving machinery and tipper trucks, and be able to work independently in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Current HC heavy vehicle driver's licence required.
• Experience loading/unloading and transporting earthmoving machinery.
• Experience driving tipper trucks.
• Able to operate machinery safely when loading/unloading.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport soil, quarry materials, construction materials, machinery and equipment.
• Safely load, unload and secure machinery for transport.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate daily truck dockets.
• Coordinate machinery movements with supervisors and site personnel.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and professional condition.

The successful applicant will be responsible for transporting materials and floating earthmoving machinery between job sites throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.
