Job summary

FC Specialists is seeking an Experienced Travel Consultant for Brisbane Airport to join our Airport team. You’ll help travellers with flights, hotels, tours and insurance while delivering exceptional service and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience as travel consultant.

Flight Centre's Airport team are the experts in problem solving, quick thinking, and last-minute bookings. Driven by a passion for problem solving and thriving on the intrinsic motivation to support people in crisis-type situations, no two bookings are the same. You'll be the expert for your customer's every need - including flights, accommodation, cruises, tours, insurance, and more! You will be working towards KPIs and incentive targets, making strong customer relationships and a genuine dedication to helping others is critical to your success in this role.

• You're the go-to person in your circle for travel recommendations, tips and tricks, with ideally minimum of two years experience as a travel consultant
• You know your way around GDS and you're focussed on speed and efficiency
• You seek out new ways to build on your success and think outside of the box for your customers to find the best travel solution for them
• You believe hard work should be rewarded, so you are focused on achieving your KPIs and sales targets to get the incentives you deserve
• You understand the importance of organisation and managing your time effectively to achieve the best result and stay on top of your work
• You're not only good at the people stuff, but at the behind the scenes stuff too. Like building itineraries, doing up invoices, operating our complex booking systems, calling suppliers, and jumping between different programs with a customer in front of you
• You're comfortable with complexity
