WSP in Australia is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer in Canberra to join our Building Services team. This senior role focuses on delivering hydraulic design from concept through construction across health, education, defence, commercial and transport sectors.

You will lead, mentor and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring quality, compliance and constructability while maintaining a flexible and balanced workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy.
• Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements.
• Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
• Desire to work in a supportive team where quality, people and balance genuinely matter.

The Role

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio
