Bedrock Mining Equipment is seeking a skilled Painter / Blaster to join our team in Mackay, QLD. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the preparation and painting of our mining equipment, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards.

You will remove old coatings, apply high-quality finishes, and ensure a durable, professional appearance on all machinery. Safety, accuracy, and efficiency are essential in this fast-paced role within a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years painting and blasting experience.
• Experience in mining or heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of paints, coatings and surface prep techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Australian permanent residency is required.
