Job summary

YAY Today provides person-centred support services in Melbourne, helping clients maintain independence and safety at home while staying connected to their communities. Teams include counsellors, psychologists, employment coaches, and support staff dedicated to empowering individuals with mental health conditions and neurodivergent traits.

Roles involve assisting with daily activities, personal care, meal prep, and medication management, with a focus on advocacy, inclusion, and building trusting

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Experience with mental health conditions or disabilities.
• Certificate III/IV in I.S. preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Orientation and screening clearance.
• WWWC Card and National Police check.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or group support to clients in daily activities.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Promote independence and community integration through social outings and engagement.
• Advocate for rights and well-being of the individuals you support.

Requirement & Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in Australia
• Experience in working with clients with mental health conditions or disabilities.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services is preferred
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• WWWC Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
